1) yes i do think that the tasks were a good test of leadership because it was very hectic and the leader of each team had to show that they can control a group of people in a high pressure situation

2) No, because i do not know much about business and i wouldnt be able to be away from home 4 12 weeks

3) one task could be to run a bar for a night and see what team makes the most money.  the reward would be free drinks at that bar for life

4)  If i were bill i would choose the gold course in califoirnia.  i would choose this because of the location.  california is one of the nicest places in the us and to be able to work on a golf course would be awsome

5) yes i do agree with how kwame handled that situation.  business isnt always ethical and you may try to be ethical but in the end of the day its about how much money is in your pocket and i think that was what kwame was thinking

6)  yes i would highly recommend this to another intro to business class.  this is a great show that makes me want to come to class every friday.  also it is very educational and i have learned alot about business.  i have also learned alot about leadership and what it takes to be a true leader.

target human recources

Human recources for target co. is offering a job for one of their human recources team member.  this job requires you to work individually and to create a good working condition.

The 5 companys that i looked at where jc penny, google, apple, dennys ,and yahoo.  my personal favorite between these five companys would have to be jc penny.  jc penny is my favorite out of these five because at this point the stock is  cheap and has room to grow.  Also i can buy alot of stock so if it does grow i can make it big.

stock tip

my stock tip is on jcpenny.  I choose jcpenny becuase it is very cheap at just 7.59 dollors.  this is good to invest in because it is very cheap and it it goes up you wil win big but if it falls your screwed so its a gamble.  but gambles are what the stock market are all about so INVEST.  This company sells cloths and other random merchandise.

business 1.    the first company i chose was Ben and Jerrys icecream and their main focus for responsibility is focused on a 3 part misson that aims to create linked prosperity for everyone that is connected to the company.  One example of this is they are working to reduce their fottprint on this world, another example is that they give back to the community.

buiness 2.  the second business i picked was whole foods.  whole foods main focas for responsibility is giving back to the community.  for example they donate food to local food pantrys 

business 3.  the 3rd company that i picked was starbucks.  starbucks main focas for responsibility is making the world greener by making all of there stores more envirerment friendly like water conservation, and energy conseravtion

Two company's that have experienced a negative scandal is target and market basket.  Target had a fairly large scandal where people were hacking into peoples credit cards when they used them at stop and shop.  alot of people got their credit cards hacked into but it wasn't alot of money taken out of the cards. Many people were afraid to go back to target but the problem is now fixed and people are swiping there cards like nothing happened.  Another company that had a negative scandal was market basket.  This was much more serious than the target scandal.  the market basket scandal was caused by two cousins feuding over the company and the one that one people did not like so people went on strike to get there old boss back.  The stores went very low on food and many people lost their jobs.  The scandal lasted most of the summer but it is all good now and market basket is trying to get back on its feet.
